Tomorrow (Saturday 3/9) Ralph Nader and colleagues will be engaged in informational picketing in front of the Walmart stores in Torrington, Waterbury and Avon, Connecticut. The picketing will focus on the issue of raising the minimum wage of Walmart workers from current levels to $10.50 per hour (based on an inflation-adjusted comparison from the 1968 minimum wage).
The picketing will take place 11:30 a.m. in Torrington, 1:00 p.m. in Waterbury, and 2:30 p.m. in Avon.
